STS Line Maintenance is hiring highly motivated A&P Mechanics to join our growing team in San Antonio, Texas (SAT). In this role, you'll support daily maintenance operations for our customers, ensuring each aircraft receives top-quality service and care. STS Line Maintenance is one of the largest line maintenance support providers in the United States.  Job Responsibilities & Duties
 
 
   
  - Report directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads
  - Partner closely with field airlines, flight crews, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers
  - Maintain aircraft to airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies, and best practices
  - Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair various transport category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment
  - Maintain the highest level of quality, safety, and integrity
  - Adjust, repair, or replace defective components based on analysis of test results while following maintenance manuals, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documentation
  - Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear, and repair or replace as needed
  - Perform additional duties as assigned
  - Work outdoors and in varying weather conditions as required
  - Perform maintenance on a variety of commercial and regional aircraft, including the Airbus A320, Boeing 737, A300, A330, CRJ, and Embraer 170
  
  
 
 The Ideal Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
 
 
   
  - Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certifications with no history of infractions
  - Recent A&P experience on turbine-powered aircraft preferred
  - Previous experience with Boeing 737, Airbus A300, A320, A330, or A220 is desired but not required
  - Gen Fam certifications on 737, A300, A320, A330, or A220 aircraft are highly valued and qualify for a higher pay rate
  - Must own a complete set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated and specialty tooling provided)
  - Self-motivated, positive attitude, and capable of working with minimal supervision
  - Able to work standing, climb ladders and stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  - Must pass background, drug, and alcohol screening and obtain customs and border patrol clearance
  - Basic to intermediate computer and organizational skills required
  - Experience under FAA Part 145 repair station or Part 135 operations preferred
  - Inspection Authorization (IA) is a plus
  - Must be able to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine repair feasibility and methods
  - Ability to troubleshoot and repair aircraft airframe and engine systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic
  - Must be flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  - Strong customer focus, communication skills, and a commitment to excellence
  
  
 
 Rate of Pay
 
 Pay rates range from $32-$40 per hour, depending on experience and aircraft qualifications.
