Exec Engagement Facilitator - Gov and Events
Location: McLean, VA | Type: Full-Time | Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

Overview
The Executive Engagement Facilitator coordinates and manages senior-level engagements, events, and travel in support of a cabinet-level customer. Operating in a high-visibility executive secretariat environment, this role oversees the full lifecycle of executive engagements from intake to execution. The Facilitator ensures accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism across all engagement activities while supporting senior government leadership.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review and assess incoming executive-level external engagement requests and prepare weekly engagement packages for leadership review.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and context for each engagement.
  • Support development of briefing materials and engagement books for approved travel and events.
  • Work with protocol staff to ensure seamless execution of day-of activities, including coordination with security and support elements.
  • Assist government personnel and SMEs in planning and executing executive foreign travel.
  • Collaborate with executive secretariat leadership to refine event concepts into polished engagements appropriate for senior principals.
  • Ensure accuracy, professionalism, and error-free execution of all products and events.
  • Perform additional administrative or protocol-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in National Security, Foreign Affairs, Public Administration, or related field; 10+ years supporting executive-level leadership.
  • Training/Certification: None required.
  • Experience with IC operations, exceptional writing skills, strong organizational abilities, and familiarity with classified communication and travel systems.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting senior executive or senior civilian service personnel (SNIS, DISES, SES).
  • Prior experience working within an executive secretariat office.
  • Knowledge of federal government interagency coordination and executive protocols.
  • Experience preparing high-level briefing materials or trip books.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market data. DarkStar provides a competitive and comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and long-term success of our full-time employees.
