Security Officer - Industrial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor for unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns during patrols and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with site staff and local first responders as needed during emergency or security-related incidents.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities clearly and accurately in daily reports as required.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors within the industrial location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
