Assistant Manager, CRM & Lifecycle Marketing (2+ years experience)

This is a 9-month, full-time (40 hours/week), on-site contract role located in San Francisco, CA for a well known retail and apparel brand.


Summary
We're seeking a data-driven, detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join the CRM & Lifecycle Marketing team. This role plays a key part in advancing customer engagement strategies through performance analytics, audience segmentation, and campaign optimization. You'll support ongoing promotional campaigns, oversee content management, and provide actionable insights that guide strategy and strengthen customer relationships.

Our Ideal Candidate
* 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing
* Passion for customer engagement and data-driven marketing strategies
* Proficient in CRM platforms, content management tools, and analytics software
* Familiar with A/B testing, campaign reporting, and web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics)
* Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, and merchandising
* Able to manage multiple concurrent projects and tight deadlines
* Flexible and adaptable to evolving business needs and timelines
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
* Self-starter with strong follow-through and organizational skills

Job Description
In this role, you will manage CRM reporting and analytics for email and mobile marketing programs, providing insights that drive optimization across campaigns and lifecycle journeys. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to execute promotional content, maintain the CRM content library, and ensure alignment with brand and customer experience goals.

You'll also oversee the execution of ad hoc campaigns, manage creative briefs, QA processes, and approvals, and ensure all content meets brand standards. In addition, you will collaborate with analytics teams to design and interpret A/B tests, identify trends, and recommend strategies to enhance audience engagement.


Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* Background in CRM, digital marketing, or content management
* Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics preferred
* Knowledge of HTML or content management systems is a plus

Additional Requirements
This opportunity is located in San Francisco, CA, and requires on-site work.

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $40-45.00 per hour.

This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length-of-service and hours requirements.
