Position Overview

The Junior Contract Administrator plays a key supporting role in the management and administration of Government Contracts. The primary objective of this position is to develop a strong foundational understanding of the Government Contracts industry and gain proficiency in the application of local and federal regulations, policies, and statutes.



Responsibilities

Under general supervision, the Junior Contract Administrator will support the following functions:

    Assist the Contracts and Procurement departments in drafting, reviewing, and issuing contractual documentation.
  • Support the preparation and review of standard contractual templates under the direction of the Contracts and Procurement Managers.
  • Maintain accurate contract administration and documentation for assigned workload.
  • Track and update contract and subcontract status using internal reporting tools and spreadsheets.
  • Provide assistance with contract and procurement closeout activities.


Required Experience/Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Three-six months of relevant experience in the Government Contracts industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.


Special Requirements/Security Clearance

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status and a SECRET security clearance, with an ability to obtain a TOP SECRET security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
