Primary Role:
Assists with all transfer work and transcript evaluations. Responsible for posting all transfer work. Handles special data projects as assigned.

Responsibilities:



  • Assist with the transfer articulation and evaluation process for all current and new undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Evaluate, appropriately process, and record on the student's record all transfer, dual enrollment, AP, CLEP and CBE credits.
  • Work closely with the Admissions staff to obtain all incoming student's transfer work.
  • Assists with researching and determining course equivalency at any university submitted by a student. Assist by using BOT created to determine course equivalencies and update in FREE and CNS to build course equivalency data base.
  • Post all AP and CLEP credit in CNS on student's records.
  • Place holds on graduate student accounts who have not submitted an acceptable undergraduate or graduate transcript. This process is critical to determine if a student is qualified to enter a program and at what level.
  • Place holds on an undergraduate student's account if they have not submitted transcripts from completed work at another institution.
  • Responsible for communicating with all students regarding the holds placed on their account.
  • Research and locate missing student transcripts sent to other offices at Lipscomb.
  • Process transcripts that arrive in our office by mail and disseminate to the appropriate office and log on student's account.
  • Meet with students regarding transfer issues, CLEP, Credit by Exam (CBE) approval, Conclusive questions, both by appointment and walk-in.
  • Assist with updating student's statuses in CNS for the following: No Show students, students with missing attributes, students moving to graduated status, etc.
  • Assist with graduation processes by assigning degree badges and placing diploma orders.
  • Assist with student course registration and rotate in supporting the Bison One Stop.
  • Assist with incoming emails to ensure great customer care.
  • Assist with special office projects as needed.
