What this job involves

The Sr Financial Analyst provides comprehensive regional financial analytical support, including budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial modeling. This role partners closely with FM Regional teams and clients to analyze performance data, identify expense drivers, track contract changes, and deliver both regular and ad-hoc reporting. The position requires strong analytical skills and client service focus while handling sensitive financial information with discretion.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Provide regional analytical support including work order analysis, volume tracking, and impact assessment for location additions/deletions
  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts while performing financial modeling and quantitative data compilation
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis in partnership with FM Regional teams and present findings to clients
  • Identify expense driver opportunities through complex data analysis and assist with headcount budget/forecast analysis
  • Review monthly invoices to identify potential capital expenditures and analyze contract change requests with budget impact tracking
  • Complete regular and ad-hoc reporting including client-ready documents, reports, charts, and presentations
  • Collaborate with BI team to implement reporting processes and develop efficient strategies including automation while preserving data integrity

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with minimum 5 years of related work experience
  • Strong finance and analytical skills with proven ability to perform complex financial analysis
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • SQL experience and proficiency in computer-based accounting applications
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation abilities to internal and external parties
  • Understanding of and commitment to client service with ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPivot for advanced data analysis and modeling
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or Excel Visual Basic for enhanced data visualization and reporting
  • Strong accounting skills beyond basic finance knowledge
  • Experience with JD Edwards platforms or similar enterprise resource planning systems
  • Previous experience in facilities management or real estate financial analysis
  • Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting best practices in service-oriented industries
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and automated reporting processes

Estimated compensation for this position:

85,000.00 - 95,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
