What You'll Do:

• Perform access control duties by monitoring entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Verify credentials and authorize individuals for entry in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with questions or directions related to access control processes.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or violations of company policies to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required, including coordinating with site management and/or emergency services as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience working at sites with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
