As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Richmond, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a bustling retail or mall location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will interact with guests, tenants, and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while fostering a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail or mall location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized or suspicious activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unwanted behavior and assist with maintaining a welcoming environment for visitors and tenants.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, customers, and employees with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel if required during incidents.
• Follow post orders and site-specific procedures as established by Allied Universal and the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
