The Technical Program Manager (TPM) plays a pivotal role in driving execution, coordination, and operational excellence across Corporate External and Legal Affairs' (CELA) engineering compliance and cybersecurity programs. Acting as Scrum Master for the team, the TPM facilitates daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint planning, ensuring clarity of priorities, accountability, and measurable progress. The role requires a solid background in cybersecurity and compliance frameworks to effectively coordinate initiatives aligned with Microsoft's security and compliance policies in CELA division.

The TPM is responsible for prioritizing security backlogs across multiple CELA engineering teams, driving alignment during sprint planning to ensure that cybersecurity-related work is properly scoped, scheduled, and tracked. This includes maintaining visibility into sprint commitments, proactively identifying dependencies and blockers, and ensuring the timely delivery of compliance and remediation milestones. The TPM partners with engineering leads, DRIs, and program owners across CELA to coordinate activities, track remediation ETAs, manage dashboards, and ensure readiness for quarterly compliance and accessibility reviews.

Additionally, the TPM supports the creation of documentation and reports for monthly compliance business reviews, providing transparency to leadership on progress, risks, and key metrics. The role ensures adherence to process rigor by maintaining proper tracking and traceability in Azure DevOps (ADO) boards and Power BI dashboards, supporting evidence collection, and upholding audit-readiness standards. Operating across technical, legal, and policy domains, the TPM serves as a bridge between multiple teams, driving unified progress toward durable, secure, and compliant engineering practices.
