Security Officer - Tech Facility Patrol

As a Security Officer - Tech Facility Patrol in Georgetown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology-focused location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents as needed, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting with any necessary actions as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and vendors at the location to provide guidance and information as needed.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to support security-related protocols specific to a tech, media, or telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
