The Supply Chain Value Analysis Coordinator role is critical in ensuring seamless operations by managing supply backorders, handling product recalls, introducing new products, converting existing products, and maintaining resiliency across the supply chain.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience required in value analysis, cost management, supply chain management, or a related field

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Knowledge of value analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices, including cost modeling, financial analysis, and total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluation.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheet and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Tableau) to manipulate and analyze data.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage supplier backorders, ensuring timely communication with departments regarding delays and alternatives.
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of clinical products to effectively manage backorders and identify suitable substitutes.
  • Oversee the introduction of new products and manage product conversions or discontinuations effectively.
  • Execute and monitor product recall processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions and maintain operational continuity.
  • Liaise with suppliers to optimize product availability and manage lead times.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to customer questions and issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Generate and analyze reports to track seasonal trends, providing insights for enhancing resiliency efforts.
  • Address product shortages by identifying alternative products and obtaining necessary clinical approvals for substitutes when required.
  • Monitor 3rd party tools to track risk of supply disruptions due to supply chain or logistics incidents.
  • Engage with suppliers to comprehend the impact of these disruptions and effectively communicate the associated risks to leadership
