What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, adhering to protocols relevant to an aerospace and defense location.
• Verify credentials and/or identification badges for all personnel, visitors, and contractors entering the facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, issues, or concerns according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Support the implementation of security-related protocols, including check-in and check-out processes for visitors and contractors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid security-related guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Current certification in CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
