Security Officer - Manufacturing Dispatch Driver

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Dispatch Driver in Benton Harbor, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities to help to deter incidents and support daily operations. Driving is a requirement for this role, as you may need to respond to various areas within the facility. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working closely with team members. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and coordinate responses to incidents within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Receive and document calls for assistance, accurately recording details and relaying information to the appropriate Allied Universal team members.
• Assist in managing access control by monitoring entry and exit points and authorizing personnel and vehicles as required.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with inquiries related to security-related procedures and site-specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with Allied Universal staff and local emergency services as needed.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences, ensuring accurate documentation for future reference.
• Support Allied Universal team members during emergency response activities and participate in regular drills or training sessions as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Supervisory experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
