We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Midwest Sales Manager to join our client's growing U.S. team. This position is responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategies targeting the mainstream grocery channel, including retailers, wholesalers, and food service partners. Our ideal candidate has proven success managing sales teams, growing distribution, and achieving strong revenue performance within the food industry.

Key Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with senior leadership, brokers, and distributors to develop and implement effective sales strategies for the Midwest region.
  • Drive revenue growth by achieving or exceeding established sales goals and profitability targets.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key customers, including grocery retailers, wholesalers, and food service accounts.
  • Oversee daily sales operations, identifying new business opportunities while maintaining existing partnerships.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, analyze market trends, and provide strategic insights to leadership.
  • Execute distribution and promotional plans to expand product presence in target markets.
  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, Production, and Quality teams to support new product launches and recipe enhancements.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and events to identify new business opportunities and strengthen brand visibility.
  • Provide regular reporting on performance metrics and contribute to annual sales planning and budgeting.
  • Supervise and support the training, development, and performance of regional sales staff or contractors as needed.



Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales leadership experience within the food industry, preferably with exposure to frozen or packaged goods.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing an annual sales budget of at least $20 million.
  • Experience working with retailers, wholesalers, and food service distributors; prior experience with Asian ethnic markets is highly preferred.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
