Position Summary

McKesson is seeking a Director, Supply Chain System Solutions. This Director will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced planning systems and digital tools within McKesson's Supply Chain System Enablement Center of Excellence. This leader will bridge technology and operations, ensuring seamless integration of planning processes, analytics, and system capabilities to drive efficiency, improve service levels, and enable strategic transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic, complex supply chain technology implementation projects, promoting culture of innovation.
  • Execute against and contribute to the digital roadmap for planning systems, ensuring alignment with objectives.
  • Oversee technical configurations and enhancements to maintain system competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with supply chain inventory planning teams to harmonize processes.
  • Drive scenario planning and system configuration activities to support decision-making.
  • Implement cost improvements and operational efficiencies leveraging technology.
  • Establish communication plans and conduct project briefings for stakeholders.
  • Serve as liaison between supply chain inventory planning and technical teams.
  • Develop policies and templates for access control and monitor compliance.
  • Support adoption of new technology solutions through training and mentoring.
  • Foster a caring and engaging employee experience; set goals and provide performance feedback.

Education & Minimum Requirements

  • Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience.
  • 4-Year degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree a plus.
  • Kinaxis (Rapid Response/Maestro) Certification(s) (Preferred Author & Administrator) are highly preferred.
  • Certifications in supply chain, project management, or Six Sigma are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analytics.

Working Conditions

  • Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted - This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
  • Hybrid work environment Irving, Texas area, though open to USA Remote Talent willing to travel.
  • USA Remote Talent requires approximately 50% travel. Local Talent requires approximately 10% travel.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $130,000 - $216,600
