Location: Urology Associates of Central Missouri

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Position Summary

Under the supervision or collaboration of practice physicians, the PA will provide care to individuals, families, and patient groups with urological diagnoses in both clinic and virtual settings. Responsibilities include prevention, screening, patient care, management, and education.


Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Initiate and document interventions; evaluate patient/family response
  • Perform procedures after appropriate training
  • Provide patient and family education
  • Promote wellness and recommend community resources
  • Incorporate evidence-based research into clinical practice
  • Complete patient charge capture and documentation in a timely manner
  • Support compliance with OSHA and regulatory standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current NCCPA certification
  • Current Missouri PA license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification
  • 0-3 years of experience as a practicing PA (urology experience preferred)

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
  • Exposure to communicable diseases and clinical substances common in a urological setting
