The University of Central Florida's (UCF) College of Community Innovation and Education (CCIE) is a one-of-a-kind academic unit with distinct, interdisciplinary expertise and potential for partnership with community stakeholders, conceived to address societal challenges and work alongside the community. The Opportunity:

The Program Enrollment Specialistdevelops and carries out enrollment strategies for Project Harmony by planning and coordinating community outreach, building and maintaining community partnerships, and conducting independent eligibility of potential participants and domestic violence screenings. The position represents the Marriage & Family Research Institute in the community, creates and delivers presentations, and uses professional judgment to make decisions that support enrollment goals and program requirements. The position reports directly to the Recruitment Coordinator/Lead.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Performance Management


  • Develop, execute, and refine data-driven enrollment strategies to consistently meet and exceed federally required performance benchmarks.

  • Analyze engagement trends, community needs, and program data to identify priority populations and strategically adjust outreach and enrollment approaches.

  • Track outreach engagement, enrollment metrics, and eligibility determinations, preparing data-driven summaries and recommendations for program leadership to collaboratively refine strategies.


Community Engagement & Partnerships


  • Cultivate and sustain robust, ongoing relationships with key community organizations, agencies, and referral partners to establish reliable engagement pipelines.

  • Coordinate and lead collaborative outreach efforts, schedule and deliver professional presentations, and enhance the program's visibility within the target community.

  • Act as an official representative of the Marriage & Family Research Institute at all outreach events, conferences, and community meetings, promoting participation and increasing awareness of Project Harmony.

  • Design and create effective outreach materials and deliver high-quality group presentations to diverse audiences.


Participant Communication & Intake


  • Manage comprehensive communication with prospective participants (via calls, texts, and emails) to schedule appointments, confirm eligibility outcomes, and provide critical program information.

  • Apply professional judgment and sensitivity to navigate complex participant questions, particularly those related to domestic violence screening and safety considerations, and ensure appropriate referrals are made.

  • Coordinate enrollment appointments and maintain proactive engagement to facilitate a smooth intake process and support overall enrollment goals.


Assessment, Compliance, & Data Integrity


  • Conduct independent and sensitive eligibility assessments and domestic violence screenings using established criteria and sound professional judgment.

  • Determine suitability for program participation, providing essential safety resources and making appropriate referrals for individuals who do not meet program requirements.

  • Ensure strict adherence to all organizational, local, state, and federal confidentiality regulations (HIPAA, FERPA, etc.) related to study participants and internal records.

  • Uphold contractual obligations and quality standards to maintain efficiency, accountability, and excellence in all work deliverables.

  • Support program research and evaluation efforts by collecting and transferring participant data according to established protocols, maintaining program fidelity and data consistency across reporting systems.


Team Collaboration & Professional Development


  • Actively participate in required meetings, including biweekly individual supervision, daily team check-ins, and all-staff meetings, to collaboratively review benchmarks, address challenges, and contribute to team success.

  • Complete required trainings, professional development activities, and other duties as necessary to support the dynamic needs of the program.


Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Previous experience supporting participant enrollment, intake, or program registration.

  • Experience in sales, or client-facing roles.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform accurate and efficient data entry.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data tracking, reporting, and presentations.
