NDE Technician Leak Testing

Savannah River National Lab Weapon Production Technology (WPT) directorate is seeking a Non-Destructive Examination Technologist- Leak Testing. This position is for a Leak Test NDE Technician in SRNL's High Pressure Laboratory Team. Candidates hired at this level will have prior NDE experience, having at least Level II certification in Leak Testing or other methods. If candidate has no certification in Leak Testing, once hired they will be responsible for successfully completing classroom and hands-on instruction; for applying his acquired knowledge of theory, math, and NDE principles/techniques to the performance of NDE examinations and exercises; for making judgments on the validity of NDE examinations and interpreting the results of examinations while under the direct supervision of a Level II or III; and for documenting results which are also reviewed by a Level II or III.
