What You'll Do:

This role supports the IT Planning & Analytics team in providing technology leaders with the knowledge to manage and communicate the cost, quality, and value of IT Services. This role will also play a part in the administrative oversight of technology budget planning and forecasting.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.

  • Provide end-to-end support for IT department leaders in the planning, purchase, and payment of IT assets and professional services.

  • Prepare metrics and analysis in support of headcount planning.

  • Designs, configures, validates, and maintains IT Cost Transparency reports within the Apptio application.

  • Model complex business problems, discover business insights, and identify opportunities using mining and visualization techniques

  • Imports, transforms, and cleanses data in Apptio on a monthly basis (i.e. GL, Workday, Project Costing, ServiceNow CMDB, etc.)

  • Participates in the process to ensure overall budget/forecast consolidation and review for development, testing, and enterprise technology solutions departments.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Technology Business Management or IT Finance required.

  • Experience financially modeling project and application expenses.

  • Knowledge of basic financial and managerial accounting

  • Familiarity with basic ITIL concepts and agile practices

  • Previous work experience in a highly regulated, capital markets company preferred

  • Highly motivated individual that assumes ownership of their projects. Ability to provide solutions that meet the business objectives and deliver on time, on budget, with a high degree of quality.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Apptio or detailed IT cost models required

  • Strong data transformation skills using MS Excel required

  • Expert with numbers, above-average analytical skills

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills required

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Management, Finance, or related field

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience

Compensation

  • The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.
  • In addition, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
  • We typically do not hire at the maximum of the range in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a substantial benefits package as noted on www.theocc.com/careers
  • All employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, company and individual performance and are not guaranteed.

Salary Range

$65,000.00 - $103,300.00

Incentive Range

6% to 10%

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award, for which the target range is listed above (see Incentive Range). The amount of such award, if any, will be based on various factors, including without limitation, both individual and company performance.
