Accounting General Department

Vantage Accounting Operations is a shared services team responsible for accurately and efficiently recording financial transactions while building positive financial relationships with customers and vendors across North America.

The team coordinates the entry, review, and approval of day-to-day transaction processing in accordance with financial policies and department SLA's. The team members proactively engage in solving problems through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in the development and implementation of continuous process improvements by maximizing the use of our technology resources, and continuing education to improve accounting operational efficiency through assessing, standardizing, and streamlining day-to-day processes. Position Overview

This role will be based onsite at our Denver, CO location.

Vantage is looking for an Accounts Payable Intern to assist on various accounts payable projects and duties. The selected person needs to have a professional image, strong communication and customer service skills.

Essential Job Functions

  • Reconciliation of past due accounts

  • Run weekly rejected report for open invoices and POs

  • Assist with vendor record maintenance

  • Learn additional Accounts Payable tasks and functions within the team

Duties

  • Skilled at solving problems and dealing with a variety of options with limited information

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook software

  • Comfortable with IT systems

  • Additional duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year university pursuing a degree in accounting or similar field

Experience:

  • Rising Junior or Senior status

  • Minimum GPA requirement - 3.0

  • Language requirements: English, required; French, helpful

  • Professional, positive demeanor required

  • Organized and a quick learner

  • Attention to detail

  • Self-motivated

  • Time management skills

  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple tasks

  • Travel required is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves.

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $20-$25/hr.

  • We will have 2 intern cohort timeframes to choose from: June 1st, 2026 - August 7th, 2026 and June 22nd, 2026 - August 28th, 2026
