Job Title: Senior Chatbot/Voice Enablement Developer

Location(s): Harrisburg, PA
(Remote)

What Success Looks Like (Key Responsibilities)

  • Design and develop enterprise-grade chatbot and voice solutions using:
    • Azure Bot Service.
    • Power Virtual Agents.
    • Integrations such as Genesys, Twilio, Microsoft Teams.
  • Build and optimize LLM pipelines, including:
    • ASR/TTS for voice bots.
    • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for knowledge-driven responses.
  • Integrate conversational AI systems with enterprise platforms:
    • CRM.
    • ITSM.
    • Security platforms.
    • API-driven and event-driven architectures.
  • Ensure security and compliance, including:
    • PII protection.
    • Encryption standards.
    • GDPR and accessibility compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize performance using:
    • Analytics and dashboards.
    • A/B testing.
    • KPIs such as containment rate, latency, and CSAT.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams.
  • Mentor junior developers and define best practices for conversational AI development
Required Experience & Skills (Must-Haves)
  • 5+ years of overall software engineering experience.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with conversational AI (chat and voice).
  • Strong expertise in Azure ecosystem, including:
    • Azure AI Foundry.
    • Azure AI Search.
    • Azure Bot Service.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • LLM / NLU orchestration.
    • Vector databases.
    • Whisper or other voice models.
    • ASR/TTS pipelines.
  • Backend development proficiency in:
    • Python
    • C#
    • REST APIs.
  • Experience with:
    • CI/CD pipelines.
    • Cloud security best practices.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently in an agile, distributed team environment.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience integrating with Genesys, Twilio, WebRTC services.
  • Prior work on enterprise-scale conversational platforms.
  • Exposure to A/B testing frameworks for AI systems.
  • Mentorship or technical leadership experience.
Work Hours:
  • Must work EST time zone hours (East Coast overlap required).
