Job Title: Business Service Specialist I.
Location(s): Wilmington, OH.

Position Summary:

  • Under direct supervision, the Business Services Specialist I supports core operations across Document Management, Release Services, and Title Services.
  • This role serves as a collateral/title specialist on behalf of internal business partners and is responsible for timely, accurate processing of title-related requests while meeting established production and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage documents within assigned operational areas, including Document Management, Release Services, and Title Services.
  • Act as a collateral/title specialist supporting internal business partners.
  • Respond to email inquiries, faxes, and service tickets in a professional and timely manner.
  • Engage customers to assess needs and provide appropriate assistance.
  • Conduct research, data entry, and account follow-up using company proprietary systems.
  • Process applications for duplicate vehicle titles, title changes, and related payments.
  • Maintain workflow standards and follow detailed instructions and procedures.
  • Meet or exceed productivity and quality benchmarks.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Processing incoming title maintenance requests for existing lender accounts.
  • Operate mail and document-handling equipment.
  • Identify and manage collateral documents accurately.
  • Handle escalated or expedited transactions as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including occasionally mandatory overtime, as business needs to dictate.
Job Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma (HSD), GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, scanner, photocopier).
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • Data entry proficiency with the ability to type at least 35 WPM with 99.6% accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in customer service role.
  • Ten-key skills for payment transaction processing.
  • Familiarity with DMV requirements and related documentation.
  • Knowledge of various state DMV forms and their application.
  • Experience in using company proprietary systems.
  • Understanding of U.S. state abbreviations.
