About This Position
The Inbound Manager directs the Inbound Operations (Receiving / Inventory Control) to ensure accurate and timely receiving/putaway while ensuring Inventory Control processes are driven with maximum efficiency. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Ensure effective coaching methods throughout the inbound operations while maintaining all company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the Receiving Department and inventory control as it's required in the Best Business Practices Guide.
- Monitor the Access Returns Department.
- Complete weekly report for Warehouse Manager.
- Make daily delivery appointments for Receiving Department.
- Responsible for Department measurables and their commitment to improve.
- Other duties as determined by the needs of the business.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Warehouse managerial or supervisory experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Forklift Certification.
- Requires strong supervisory skills: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with inventory management.
- Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs).
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will often be required to stand, sit, use hands, talk and hear.
- The employee will occasionally be required to walk, reach, stoop and kneel.
- There are no special vision requirements.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 lbs.
- The noise level is moderate (examples: Warehouses with staff and forklifts in operation).
- Ability to communicate and work in a team oriented atmosphere.
- Must obtain forklift certification.
