Role Summary

Join Church & Dwight's Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition (AHAN) team and lead a critical function that drives technical excellence and sales enablement across the Americas. Your mission: develop and execute a technical service strategy that empowers sales teams, strengthens customer relationships, and accelerates growth.

About the Role

Church & Dwight's Specialty Products Division (SPD) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Leader to lead the Americas Field Technical Services function for the AHAN business unit to be the key sales enablement function for the field sales teams. Reporting to the AHAN Americas Head of Sales this role will be responsible for leading this function across North and South America, as well as across all species and segments in the AHAN business. This leader will ensure necessary internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Product Management, R&D, etc.) and customers are trained and technically proficient, so sales targets are delivered.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute the technical service strategy for the AHAN business unit in the Americas, including new technical offerings to optimize and demonstrate profitability for producers.

  • Leverage the technical service strategy to meet defined targets for revenue and profitability for AHAN feed additives in the Americas.

  • Direct a team of highly technical individuals to execute with a commercial mindset to apply their technical aptitude for accelerated sales growth.

  • Lead a team that will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure appropriate colleagues are technically trained on the AHAN portfolio, competitive offerings, and industry trends.

  • When appropriate, direct team members to support field trials and third-party research.

  • Must be able to travel about 60%, including some international travel.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong leadership skills, ability to lead high-aptitude individuals, and a strong commercial mindset.

  • Strong written and verbal skills and the ability to make professional presentations and proposals to both internal leadership and with customers.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships, handle multiple priorities and work in a self-directed manner.

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM.

Education and Experience

  • PhD in Animal Sciences or DVM required.

  • MBA preferred.

  • 10+ years industry experience in a company with offerings requiring a technical sales process and scientific acumen is required.

  • Proven record of leading individuals charged with technically supporting sales teams for accelerated growth in the animal nutrition or animal health space.

  • Proven track record of sales leadership experience is preferred.

  • Knowledge and experience across multiple animal species is preferred.

  • Professional experience in both North America and South America is preferred.
