Position Overview
The Site Environmental Specialist's primary objective is to support the execution of Hexion's environmental programs at the Springfield, Oregon facility and ensure compliance with applicable Lane County (LRAPA), Oregon and federal environmental regulations. This role supports a permitted manufacturing facility and is responsible for day-to-day compliance, implementation of established programs, and fostering a strong culture of continuing environmental performance. Applicable environmental program areas include air, waste management, wastewater, stormwater, EPCRA (Tier 2 and TRI) and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) requirements. The position provides technical expertise and oversight to ensure ongoing compliance with permit conditions and regulatory obligations. Job Responsibilities
