Senior Financial Analyst - JLL

Chicago, IL - (Hybrid)

What this job involves: Join JLL's client-dedicated team as a Senior Financial Analyst supporting two high-profile accounts in the San Francisco Bay Area. In this strategic role, you'll own comprehensive FP&A activities while serving as a trusted financial advisor to operations leadership across three dynamic sites. You'll drive critical financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes that directly impact client satisfaction and business performance. This position offers the opportunity to influence tactical and strategic decisions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and implement best-in-class financial practices that support JLL's commitment to operational excellence.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Own and deliver monthly cost reporting packages to clients, providing clear analysis of JLL's forecasted position versus budget for the current year

  • Track and maintain finance dashboards daily, reporting key metrics and insights to operations teams as business needs arise

  • Support service change request tracking and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-savings and process improvement initiatives

  • Conduct detailed forecast analysis including Budget-versus-Actual and Forecast-versus-Actual spending comparisons while working with budget owners to build and maintain accurate financial projections

  • Serve as primary liaison between finance and operations teams to ensure consistent, accurate cost reporting and seamless communication across all stakeholder groups

  • Complete regular and ad-hoc reporting including formal presentations, charts, and analytical documents while supporting automation initiatives that preserve data integrity

  • Assist with revenue recognition, fee calculations, and timely billing in accordance with Master Service Agreements while supporting various accounting-related activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, with Finance or Accounting focus strongly preferred

  • 3-5 years of relevant financial analysis experience in corporate or professional services environment

  • Advanced Excel skills with demonstrated ability to build complex financial models and perform detailed data analysis

  • Proven financial competency at detailed operational level with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership using PowerPoint or Google Slides

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple organizational levels and functional areas

  • High attention to detail and accuracy with proven track record of making effective decisions under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in commercial real estate, facilities management, or professional services industry

  • Knowledge of FP&A best practices and experience with financial reporting automation tools

  • Familiarity with service change request processes and contract management principles

  • Experience with budget planning and forecasting in client-facing roles

  • Strong customer service orientation with demonstrated interpersonal sensitivity

  • Project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional improvement initiatives

  • Advanced proficiency in financial reporting software and business intelligence tools

Estimated compensation for this position:

90,000.00 - 100,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
