Overview

Apogee has an immediate and exciting new opportunity for a Business Operations Analyst in support of the Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology & Logistics (SOF AT&L) Acquisition Resources office.

This is a full-time position located at MacDill AFB, FL



Responsibilities

    Develop, draft, and review executive-level documents to ensure 100% technical, grammatical, and formatting accuracy
  • Initiate, manage, and prepare responses to official Task Management Tool (TMT) taskers and "unofficial" (email) USSOCOM-wide and SOF AT&L tasks
  • Develop and manage SOF AT&L's tasker status reports
  • Provide project and event management support for key events and projects, including SOF Week and All-Hands.
  • Serve as primary POC for initiation and completion of all Forms 14/TMTs for SOF Week
  • Serve as primary author and reviewer of formal message traffic and all OPORDs/FRAGOs pertaining to SOF Week
  • Format, review, and ensure technical, grammatical, and formatting accuracy of all SOF Week IPRs and working group meetings
  • Assist in managing technology services in support of all presentations and meetings for SOF Week in conjunction with USSOCOM VIS and SOFWERX
  • Create tasks, manage, and organize all aspects of SOF Week volunteers and after-action awards for SOF Week volunteers, including the distribution of award certificates
  • Provide technical writing and review services for internal and external publications and awards programs (e.g., SOF AT&L Year in Review, HQ USSOCOM Civilian of the Quarter, OSD Packard Award, etc.)
  • Ensure timely, complete, and professional submission of all SOF AT&L awards


Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Business or a related field
Years of Experience: 5 years of business process, project/event management, or knowledge management experience, including:

  • Possess technical writing expertise/experience
  • Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint and Teams
  • Knowledge of data collection, management, and analysis techniques, and preparing reports and visual aids that can assist/inform the government team and aid in acquisition decision-making

Preferred Qualifications:
Additional Experience:

  • Highly proficient in communicating both verbally and in writing at Senior Executive and General Officer levels
  • Working knowledge of military protocol; working knowledge of military and installation logistics and support processes
