As a Material Programmer at Terex, based in Huron, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting daily operations using Sigmanest software to efficiently nest component models onto sheet steel. This role focuses on optimizing material usage and resolving basic production issues.

What you'll do

-Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures

-Adhere to and promote The Terex Way Values
- Reviews parts issues and escalates/corrects issues in TMS

- Optimize nests to improve Laser Cutting capacity

- Maximize nest efficiency and material utilization

-Become familiar with parts to reduce problems with orientation and part issues

- Organize cut plans to optimize time usage

- Coordinate frequently with Production and materials teams for plan priority

-Create cut list for night shift/weekends

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills

-The ability to work with minimal work instruction

-All other duties as assigned

What you'll bring

Qualifications

-0-2 years of experience in materials

Preferred Qualifications

-High School Diploma and/or equivalent experience

- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

- Understand and demonstrate basic computer skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

- Computer skills, equipment operation, tool operation, judgment, interpersonal skills, math, reading and writing

Salary: The compensation range for this position is $23.50 - $31.50 hourly. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
