Position Overview
| Primary Purpose of Position |
Key Responsibilities:
Program & Activity Support
- Assist with the planning, preparation, and execution of summer camp activities.
- Assist with facilitating orientation for summer camp counselors and other summer staff
- Provide general classroom, workshop, and program support to instructors and camp facilitators.
Camper Supervision & Safety
- Monitor campers to ensure a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment.
- Support the implementation of Protection of Minors standards and university safety protocols.
- Assist with camper transitions between activities, breakrooms, dining halls, and designated pick-up/drop-off areas.
- Report any incidents, concerns, or behavioral issues to the Program Director immediately.
Administrative & Operational Tasks
- Support daily attendance tracking, check-in/check-out procedures, and general recordkeeping.
- Provide customer service to parents/guardians, visitors, and campus partners as needed.
- Assist with the Protection of Minors Training process and help ensure program compliance with university policies.
