ASI Engineer

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a ASI Engineer to support Cargo Helicopters PO. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Avionics Systems and Integration Engineer with an accumulative experience, and working knowledge, in the areas of avionics management systems, communication, navigation, electronic warfare, voice/data recorders, and automatic flight control systems, to include:

  • Avionics system architecture design and analysis

  • Systems integration

  • Test, evaluation, and performance analysis

  • System maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Information Assurance

  • Obsolescence management

• Review Modification Work Orders and other aircraft integration documentation.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Science, or a related field, and at least 17 years of experience.

• Solid understanding of engineering principles, systems integration, and testing methodologies.

• Proficiency in utilizing engineering software tools, data analysis techniques, and statistical methods.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to apply analytical thinking to complex technical challenges.

• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Must be a US Citizen and have/able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Recent aerospace experience in Electrical/Avionics and Communication/Navigation integration in Army aviation systems.

• Avionics Systems and systems integration experience preferred.

• Defense Acquisition Lifecycle - Milestone C documentation experience preferred.
