Job Description

The Center for Child Well-Being, housed within the Department of Psychiatry in the University of Missouri School of Medicine, seeks a Senior Coordinator to support Early Childhood Programs, specifically, the Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Initiative (iECMH) and Child Care Inclusion Services.

We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in early childhood. A highly qualified applicant will have strong project management and communication skills, as well as knowledge of the Missouri early childhood workforce.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Serve as Training & Logistics Coordinator for iECMH and Inclusion, maintaining responsibility for project training deliverables and associated inventory, including coordination, operations, and logistics.
* Deliver trainings, virtually and in person, to early childhood workforce, and other stakeholders around the state.
* Training Development, Management & Quality Improvement activities, including: research and develop new trainings and materials on early childhood topics, ensuring content is evidence-based, aligns with current best practices, and addresses the needs of educators, caregivers and other stakeholders; review & update existing in-person and online trainings based on feedback and best practices; identify and implement strategies to enhance statewide training delivery.
* Data Management, Evaluation Activities, and Contractual Compliance activities, including: Collaborate with Data Director to develop, implement and maintain a formal evaluation plan for trainings, including the design of pre- and post-training assessments, analyzing outcomes, and using data to inform improvements to training content & delivery. Oversee accurate entry, management of all training-related data in the REDCap and MOPD system to ensure completeness and accuracy for reporting and decision-making purposes. Monitor and support adherence to contractual obligations related to training, including tracking participant engagement and outcomes. Use evaluation & documentation data to identify trends and support continuous quality improvement.
* Training Coordination, Operations & Logistics activities, including: Supervision of Training & Logistics Assistants, which includes serving as supervisor for part-time training & logistic assistants (e.g., provide guidance, support, and oversight to ensure effective completion of their tasks and professional development), training coordination & organization (e.g., scheduling, confirming attendance, assigning clock hours, coordinating materials & locations for both in-person and virtual sessions across the state), support development and dissemination of marketing materials related to trainings. Identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes and improve efficiency, including implementing best practices for communication, material distribution, and participant tracking.
* Inventory and Purchasing Management activities, including: Maintain an accurate, organized inventory of all program materials, including tracking quantities, storage locations, and usage utilizing inventory management software. Serve as topic matter expert on inventory management systems. Monitor stock levels, prevent shortages, and ensure materials are ready for statewide training events. Coordinate the preparation and shipment of materials to training participants, ensuring that stakeholders receive resources in timely manner.
* Participant and Partner Communication activities, including: Prepare and disseminate communications to training participants, including registration conversations, training info emails, pre-and post-surveys, etc. to support engagement and learning. Respond promptly and professionally to participant questions and/or concerns, providing guidance and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience. Provide response support to early childhood training staff. Work with community partners and other stakeholders to share information about trainings, serve as face of program, etc.
* Other duties as assigned.

Shift

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Occasional nights and weekends to accommodate trainings.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Communications, Program Management, or other related field.
State certification or licensure in education, mental health, or a related field,
3 or more years of experience in early childhood education settings with a focus on social/emotional wellness preferred.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 annually
Grade: GGS - 010
