Quality Assurance Engineer Washington, DC Pay From: $100,000 per year MUST: Experienced Quality Assurance Engineer 7 years experience in Automated testing, System testing, both front end and backend Ability to work independently in an Agile setting Experience in Azure DevOps and GitLab Experience in designing and implementing Selenium automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, BDD, Data Driven etc.) Strong communication skills both written and oral Experience in testing Angular, API, and SQL Server testing Presentation skills are required for this position Understanding of SQL for database testing Experience with performance testing tools Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for web application testing Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools DUTIES: We are searching for an Intermediate Subject Matter Expert to work closely with Technical Leads, Developers, and Business Users to support key business applications. The position is responsible for testing and supporting business applications to ensure optimal functionality, reliability, and user experience. This role designs, develops, and executes automated test scripts using Selenium to validate application features across multiple browsers and platforms. The analyst collaborates with development teams using GitLab for version control, code reviews, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines. Key responsibilities include identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, performing regression testing, and providing production support to resolve application issues. The ideal candidate combines strong technical testing skills with business acumen to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet organizational requirements.
