This position will be remote in the United States or hybrid in our American Fork, UT office 2-3 days per week. Job Summary We are looking for a Lead UX Designer to co-lead and set the design direction for our flagship Practice Management System, Dentrix Ascend. You are a seasoned product designer with a strong track record of shaping complex B2B platforms, driving clarity in ambiguous problem spaces, and delivering cohesive, high-impact user experiences at scale. You bring deep empathy for customers, strong systems thinking, and the ability to translate complex workflows and technical constraints into intuitive, elegant solutions. While you are still energized by hands-on design work, you also operate comfortably at a strategic level-guiding design decisions, influencing product direction, and mentoring designers across teams. This is a highly collaborative leadership role that partners closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders. You will help define what "great" looks like for UX on Dentrix Ascend, champion user-centered design throughout the organization, and elevate the overall maturity of our design practice. The posted range for this position is$120,000 - $175,000which is the expected starting salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus target not reflected in the range.
