This leader serves as the principal architect of Verizon's security intelligence ecosystem, responsible for the strategic evolution and 24/7 operational command of the GFIC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the gathering and analysis of OSINT, SIGINT, and third-party intelligence to forecast geopolitical and domestic impacts on Verizon's global footprint.

  • Manage the 24/7 GFIC hub, integrating cross-functional data streams to provide a "single pane of glass" view of the global threat landscape.

  • Safeguard the physical integrity of the telecommunications backbone against vandalism, theft, and domestic violent extremism (DVE).

  • Oversee the security integrity of the global logistics trail, ensuring Verizon's "Value Chain" remains uncompromised.

  • Direct global travel security protocols and executive protection for a workforce operating in increasingly complex geopolitical environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree in National Security, International Relations, Computer Science, or Business (MBA) is highly preferred.

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in a Fortune 100, high-level government, or military environment, including 7+ years of senior leadership managing multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of telecommunications regulatory requirements and the specific physical and digital vulnerabilities of global critical infrastructure.

  • Proven track record of synthesizing complex risk data into actionable briefings and high-impact reports for the CSO and C-suite stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale organizations through high-velocity environments characterized by daily shifts in threat landscapes and technology.
