Job Overview

The Public Relations & Communications Coordinator provides day-to-day support for communications and media initiatives. This entry-level role assists with content production, media monitoring, project coordination, and administrative tasks to help ensure the smooth execution of campaigns. Working under the direction of senior team members, the Coordinator supports efforts to strengthen the brand, increase visibility, and maintain consistent messaging across external channels.

Job Status: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Hybrid

Shift: Days. Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm with weekend/holiday on-call rotation.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists in drafting and editing PR and external communications materials.
  • Coordinates logistics for media interviews, events, and press opportunities.
  • Assists with administrative tasks, including scheduling, vendor coordination, and file management.
  • Monitors news coverage, maintains media lists, and tracks campaign performance.
  • Supports the day-to-day management of project timelines, assets, and approvals.
  • Collaborates with team members to ensure brand consistency in all public-facing content.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degrees
    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English or a related field
  • Experience
    • None required. Some work/intern experience preferred
  • Equivalency
    • Four (4) years of experience, beyond stated requirements, may substitute for the Bachelor's degree

Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $61,473.39 to $92,210.08
