Assistant Logistics Specialist - Clearance Required

Job Description:

The Assistant Logistics Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating various operations to ensure the logistic effectiveness and efficiency for SEAL Delivery Vehicle (SDV), Dry Dock Shelter (DDS) and Diving program events.

Responsibilities include:

• Assists with day-to-day operations of the supply department, providing technical advice and assistance.
• Reviews logistical processes for adequacy, economy, and efficiency.
• Provides technical guidance through the usage of COSAL maintenance.
• Responsible for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) across life cycle sustainment of SDV vehicles.
• Serves as subject matter expert on inventory policies, procedures, and methods.

Here's what you need:

• Experience in acquisition, management, sustainment, purchasing, transportation, distribution, inventory management, and COSAL maintenance of installed systems.
• Proficiency with common Navy logistical tools and databases
• Knowledge of logistics doctrine, policy, and procedures pertaining to Naval Special Warfare and the Navy.
• At least five years of experience in repair part management, asset visibility, and COSAL management
• At least two years of experience in Logistics or Supply management functions.

Security Clearance:

• DOD Secret clearance required

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration (or equivalent technical field).

Work Schedule:

• Onsite

Compensation and Benefits:
The projected compensation range for this position is $90,000-100,000. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
