We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to step into a pivotal role where your expertise will directly impact the accuracy and integrity of critical spatial data. **What You'll Do:**

* Research, develop, program, and manage GIS tools, applications, and interfaces to optimize data utilization.

* Develop, maintain, and provide support for all spatial data systems, including both hardware and software components.

* Create and present GIS system and cartographic mapping elements, integrating them with other technologies for communication and outreach.

* Transpose complex data from various source documents, such as records maps, CAD drawings, land base maps, demographic models, and economic resources, into a structured GIS database.

* Produce high-quality maps, offer web-based mapping support, develop both spatial and non-spatial databases, and provide technical assistance to other users.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* An educational background or certification in GIS, geography, computer science, or a closely related field.

* 0-2 years of professional experience in a GIS-related role.

* Demonstrated experience with industry-standard GIS software.

* A strong, foundational understanding of geographic concepts and principles.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

* A high level of proficiency in computer systems, various applications, and database software.

* Reliable and consistent work ethic with strong communication skills.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Experience with advanced GIS platforms, specifically those used for professional mapping and analysis.
