Patient Services Specialist Location: Conshohocken, PA (On-site) Type: Contract-to-Hire Duration: 5 months Pay Rate: $18/hour Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) * 2 shifts: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM * 3 shifts: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM * (Must be able to work two late shifts per week) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Patient Services Specialist to join a busy outpatient practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivers exceptional customer service, and can manage multiple responsibilities with professionalism and accuracy. Key Responsibilities * Warmly greet patients with eye contact, a smile, and a positive attitude * Assist new patients with paperwork and answer questions * Handle patient registration and verify insurance authorizations * Collect co-pays and manage patient demographics * Answer phones, schedule appointments, and follow up as needed * Check voicemails, verify benefits, and process authorizations * Close out daily charges and ensure accuracy in patient accounts * Utilize EMR systems (Therapy Source & Rehab Toolkit) Must-Have Skills * Medical or healthcare experience * Front desk or customer service experience * Strong computer skills * Ability to multitask and manage a heavy workload * Excellent communication skills (in person and over the phone) Nice-to-Have Skills * EMR experience * Knowledge of insurance and copays * Familiarity with patient demographics Qualifications * Minimum 1+ year in a medical front desk, general front desk, or customer service role * Healthcare call center experience is a plus * Professional, reliable, and eager to learn and grow Work Environment * Outpatient office setting * Busy practice with high patient interaction Interview Process * Expected Start Date: January 26, 2026 Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conshohocken, PA.
