About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking a Jr. Project Manager to join us. The Project Coordinator (Training & Compliance) supports the Senate SAA ITSC V program by owning the operational coordination behind training and security-related readiness activities. This role manages training data calls and reporting, drives completion of assigned training across teams, and coordinates logistics for security and training classes. The Project Coordinator ensures training requirements are visible, scheduled, tracked, and completed on time, and provides clear status reporting to program leadership. Duties and Responsibilities:
Training coordination and completion management
- Coordinate required training activities across staff, including onboarding, annual refreshers, and role-based training.
- Track training assignments and completion status for all required personnel; follow up with individuals and managers to drive timely completion.
- Maintain training schedules, rosters, and attendance records; ensure documentation is accurate and audit-ready.
- Coordinate training class logistics (scheduling, facilities/virtual links, communications, reminders, materials).
- Security + compliance coordination (training-related)
- Coordinate security-related training classes and required briefings in collaboration with security stakeholders.
- Ensure training artifacts align with program and customer requirements (e.g., completion evidence, attendance logs, due dates).
- Support readiness activities that intersect security and access onboarding (as directed by program leadership).
- Data calls, reporting, and stakeholder communications
- Serve as the central point of contact for training-related data calls and recurring reporting.
- Produce clear, routine training status reports (completion rates, overdue items, upcoming sessions, risks/blocks).
- Maintain a "single source of truth" tracker for training requirements, due dates, completions, and exceptions.
- Escalate risks early (overdue training, non-responsiveness, scheduling constraints, access dependencies).
- Program support
- Support broader transition or steady-state coordination tasks tied to training readiness (meeting notes, action items, trackers, and communications).
- Coordinate across Help Desk, Install, System Consultants, Security, and PMO staff to keep training and compliance activities moving.
- Pace and responsiveness
- This is a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and time-sensitive requests. We need someone who stays organized under pressure, communicates clearly, and can manage multiple moving parts without losing attention to detail or customer experience.
Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:
2+ years of experience in project coordination, training coordination, compliance tracking, or program administration (federal environment preferred). - Demonstrated experience managing trackers, driving follow-through with multiple stakeholders, and producing status reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to follow up professionally and persistently.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records under time pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint). Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a government IT program, help desk/field services organization, or customer-facing IT operations.
- Familiarity with security awareness training requirements and documentation expectations.
- Experience supporting onboarding/access readiness processes and coordinating across security/compliance functions.
Work Environment / Expectations
- Washington, DC metro area. On-site presence may be required for certain onboarding events, training sessions, or customer needs.
- Role requires consistent coordination during peak business hours and responsiveness to time-sensitive data calls.
Success Measures (first 60-90 days)
- Training tracker is established as the authoritative source and updated routinely.
- Training sessions are scheduled and communicated with clean rosters and attendance records.
- Training completion rates improve and overdue items are actively managed and escalated.
- Data calls are answered quickly with accurate, consistent reporting.
