Employment Type: Intern Division: Human Resources Department: HR Operations Salary Range: $23-$28/hour The HR Operations Intern supports the Human Resources team in onboarding, orientation, and day-to-day employee support activities. This role offers hands-on experience in HR processes, employee engagement initiatives, and internal operations that contribute to workforce integration and company culture.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Collaborate on the planning and execution of local employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and resources.
- Assist the HR team with daily operations, administrative tasks, and internal communications.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR information systems (HRIS) to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate recruitment logistics, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
- Help prepare documentation and materials for HR audits and compliance reviews.
- Support the administration of employee benefits and wellness programs.
- Contribute to the creation and distribution of internal HR communications and newsletters.
- Participate in special HR projects aimed at improving processes or enhancing employee experience.

- Knowledge of basic HR functions, compliance requirements, and employment regulations.
- Detail-oriented in reviewing applications, onboarding materials, and HR data.
- Strong organizational skills for managing records, schedules, and documentation accurately.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
