The HR Operations Intern supports the Human Resources team in onboarding, orientation, and day-to-day employee support activities. This role offers hands-on experience in HR processes, employee engagement initiatives, and internal operations that contribute to workforce integration and company culture.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions
  • Collaborate on the planning and execution of local employee engagement initiatives and events.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and resources.
  • Assist the HR team with daily operations, administrative tasks, and internal communications.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR information systems (HRIS) to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate recruitment logistics, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
  • Help prepare documentation and materials for HR audits and compliance reviews.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits and wellness programs.
  • Contribute to the creation and distribution of internal HR communications and newsletters.
  • Participate in special HR projects aimed at improving processes or enhancing employee experience.

Required Experience
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Familiar with HRIS or ATS platforms.
  • Knowledge of basic HR functions, compliance requirements, and employment regulations.
  • Detail-oriented in reviewing applications, onboarding materials, and HR data.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing records, schedules, and documentation accurately.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
