Role: Technical Solutions Specialist - Storage

Hybrid Role: Alpharetta, GA

Customer Solution Centers consist of teams that provide remote (offsite) services, including customer access, pre-sales, post-sales, and service delivery. Technical teams focus on resolving various business systems and application issues for customers, onsite engineering personnel, and Authorized Service Providers across standard, specialized, or complex systems.

Responsibilities

* Resolve technical issues (hardware and software) from incoming internal or external contacts and proactive notification systems.

* Respond to service, product, technical, and customer-relations inquiries regarding features, specifications, and repairs for current and discontinued storage products, parts, and options, based on customer entitlement.

* Proactively assist internal or external businesses and end users to prevent or reduce problem occurrence.

* Maintain excellent communication skills and document case resolutions in Salesforce and Knowledge Management Systems.

* Understand and apply Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles.

* Collaborate with onsite engineers and Authorized Service Providers to coordinate break-fix activities and ensure timely resolution.

* Provide consultative guidance using HPE InfoSight and telemetry tools to predict and prevent issues.

Storage Proficiencies

* HPE Enterprise Storage: Alletra (5000/6000/9000), Primera, 3PAR, Nimble, MSA

* SAN Components: Fibre Channel switches (Brocade/Cisco), HBAs, NICs, cabling

* Storage Controllers, Disk Shelves, SSD/HDD drives, RAID configurations

Software Proficiencies

* Linux: Red Hat, SLES, Ubuntu, CentOS

* VMware: ESXi (5.5, 6.0, 6.5, 7.x), vCenter

* Microsoft Windows Server: 2008, 2012, 2016, 2022

* Storage Management Tools: HPE InfoSight, OneView, SSMC, array CLI

Qualifications

* 2+ years experience supporting enterprise storage systems in mission-critical environments.

* Strong troubleshooting skills for HPE storage arrays and SAN/NAS connectivity.

* Familiarity with ITIL processes and case management tools (Salesforce, KMS).

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
