We are looking for a Regional Category Lead for the US Manufacturing development program who is strategic, collaborative, and results-driven to join us in our Procurement team, based in our Atlanta, GA office

About the role

As a Regional Category Lead, you will own all procurement activities for the US Manufacturing development program, ensuring alignment with global strategies and compliance frameworks. You will manage end-to-end external spend across engineering, construction, equipment, and services for a new US manufacturing facility, driving sourcing strategies, contract execution, and supplier performance while embedding sustainability and risk mitigation objectives.

Who you'll work with

You will report to the Head of Procurement Engineering & Infrastructure and partner closely with executive leaders in Operations, Global Engineering, Global Quality, Finance, Legal, and Sustainability. You will also lead and develop a team of category managers, acting as a senior business partner and regional focal point for procurement excellence.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for US footprint development.
  • Lead sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management.
  • Drive value creation, cost savings, and supply resilience initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and sustainability standards.
  • Manage procurement budgets and resource planning for US scope.
  • Align US sourcing strategies with global category roadmaps.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • More than 10 years' experience in similar procurement roles.
  • Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
  • Deep understanding of global supply markets and emerging technologies.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred requirements

  • Master's degree or higher (MBA, Ph.D., J.D. a plus).
  • Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPM, or PMP.
  • Experience in procurement for large-scale engineering or construction projects.
  • Proficiency in SAP Source-to-Contract and procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainable sourcing and ethical practices.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills.

This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $184,000 to $241,500 per year. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
