Security Officer - Armed Residential Access Control

As a Security Officer - Armed Residential Access Control in Juno Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible throughout the property to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability. This is an armed position, where your professionalism and communication skills will contribute to a welcoming and secure environment for residents and guests.

What You'll Do:

• Assist residents, guests, and visitors by providing customer service while following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment at the residential location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site instructions.
• Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns observed during shifts.
• Support emergency response activities as required, following established procedures and communication protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
