As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a sense of security, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and teamwork. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or potential security-related concerns within the healthcare location.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and local law enforcement when required to address incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related events as required by site procedures.
  • Assist in controlling access to restricted areas within the healthcare facility, verifying identification as needed.
  • Support Allied Universal in delivering high-quality security-related services tailored to the unique needs of healthcare locations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Proof of hospital-required vaccines is required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
