As a Security Officer - Industrial Unarmed Patrols in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with people on site, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activity encountered during patrols within the facility.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with site management and Allied Universal regarding incidents, concerns, or security-related issues.
• Support access control protocols by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
• Assist with emergency response activities according to site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
