Radnor, PA (Airgas HO) - Management How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Airgas is Hiring for a Senior Inventory Control Analyst in Radnor, PA!

The Senior Analyst - Inventory Control is responsible for providing business support for the Senior Manager - Inventory Control and Hardgoods Supply Chain division leadership. Primary tasks include hardgoods inventory and sales analysis, inventory management tasks, logistics and operational analysis, participating in system and policy development, and broad communication across the organization. This role will require a professional that is data-savvy and curious about their task and their organization, with strong analytical, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Uses various software, reports and metrics to evaluate, interpret, and provide critical information in support of inventory operations and health.

  • Translates complex data into actionable insights that can be effectively communicated to build consensus in support of senior leadership decision-making and strategy.

  • Assists with the development and maintenance of sales and inventory dashboards. Leads development of these resources where appropriate.

  • Develops and maintains tracking systems and reports for current issues, and communicates the status of those issues broadly across the organization.

  • Supports and investigates compliance with Company inventory policies and procedures at all levels, evaluating and contributing to continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Work closely with the DC Network and Airgas Safety Call Centers in identifying, framing and communicating inventory issues and trends. Contributes to problem-solving and implementation of corrective actions and procedural changes.

  • Governs workflow processes through the supply chain through to sales accountability for specialized programs or custom goods.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. To be successful, the Senior Analyst, Inventory Control should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, data analysis or related field.

  • A minimum of five years' experience in supply-chain, distribution center, inventory control or order management positions.

  • Experience in working across matrixed organizations and with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities between different levels of management.

  • Strong computer skills (Google Workspace, Excel, etc.) and experience with SAP or similar EBS systems.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

  • Incentive pay: This position is eligible for incentive compensation in the following program: annual bonus program

  • Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of how to consolidate disparate data to highlight areas for improvement in organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Working experience with supply chain fundamentals, including order-to-fulfillment concepts, product life cycle process and inventory management basics.

  • Proficiency in SAP ECC, SAP BW and Power BI report writing and data modeling.

  • ERP / EBS experience.

  • Experience with data visualization tools.

  • A demonstrated capacity to support continuous improvement of processes .

Preferred Qualifications and Compentencies:

  • Experience with Power BI, SAP BW, Qlik, Tableau, Oracle BI or similar.

  • Experience with SAP S4/Hana.

  • Experience with WMS.

  • Experience with Blue Yonder.
