At Parker, our team members belong, matter and make a difference. General Maintenance Job Description & Requirements Performs general maintenance and cleaning work. Performs all general tasks relating to maintenance of building, grounds, and equipment maintenance. Troubleshoots and repairs hydraulic systems, electrical problems and mechanical failures to machines, equipment and buildings. Prepare and paint all types of machinery, office equipment, factory facilities and buildings. Must have experience as a general maintenance person or a minimum of four to five years' experience in the building, grounds, and equipment maintenance area. Must have the experience and knowledge in the following areas: Carpentry, masonry, pipe fitting, welding, plumbing, heating & air conditioning, and pneumatic equipment. Must be able to establish working procedures to carry out diversified tasks in the most efficient manner. Must be physically capable of performing the tasks required in this job (i.e., comfortable working at heights). Must have the aptitude for & ability to acquire a basic knowledge of maintenance work & tools. Working Procedures
