THE ROLE

AMD is seeking a Public Relations Manager to manage and execute tactical PR activities for our Client Computing and Graphics product portfolio. This role supports product launches and ongoing momentum efforts, with direct responsibility for North America, while partnering closely with regional PR teams to coordinate global consumer, client, and graphics communications.

Reporting to the Computing and Graphics PR Director, this role plays a critical part in driving positive editorial coverage by managing media relationships, supporting product reviews and launches, and ensuring consistent, accurate messaging across traditional media, bloggers, nontraditional content creators, and YouTubers. Internally, this role works closely with business units and marketing teams to secure messaging, collateral, and content that support key product launches and campaigns.

THE PERSON

You are a proactive, detailoriented PR professional with a strong interest in computing, graphics, and gaming technologies. You are comfortable working handson with media and reviewers, coordinating complex launch logistics, and operating in fastpaced environments with multiple stakeholders.

You bring strong communication and organizational skills, technical curiosity, and the ability to build trusted relationships both internally and externally. You are collaborative, responsive, and motivated by driving measurable coverage and impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive PR activities supporting product launches and sustained momentum for AMD's client, gaming, and graphics product portfolios.
  • Manage NPRP (NonPaid Review Program) efforts for launches of new CPUs, graphics cards, and OEM/SI systems, including coordination of unit testing, shipping, allocation, and handson reviewer support.
  • Maintain direct, ongoing engagement with North American media, bloggers, nontraditional content creators, and YouTubers to drive positive perception and highquality coverage of AMD technologies.
  • Provide frontline technical support and direct engagement with reviewers to assess and troubleshoot issues during NPRP and ongoing review opportunities.
  • Support OEM and SIled announcements and reviews of AMDpowered laptops and desktop PCs in close coordination with the Computing and Graphics PR team.
  • Develop and execute creative communication campaigns, review opportunities, and demandgeneration activities to increase awareness and engagement.
  • Maintain strong communication with AMD product teams, providing guidance on press engagement, NPRP strategy, competitive positioning, and PR best practices.
  • Coordinate with product management and marketing to ensure North American PR priorities are aligned with broader business objectives.
  • Track upcoming game launches and AMD game bundles, including competitive performance and key technology features, and support PR promotional activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor competitive activity and market dynamics to inform PR strategy and guidance to business, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Support and attend media events such as press briefings, conferences, interviews, tradeshows, and press visits to ensure accurate messaging and coverage.
  • Draft PR materials including Q\&As, talking points, press releases, pitches, blogs, bylines, and email communications.
  • Support additional projects and assignments as needed.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive experience in public relations, journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting product launches and ongoing communications for technology products.
  • Strong familiarity with computing, graphics, gaming, and consumer technology landscapes.
  • Experience working directly with media, reviewers, content creators, and influencers.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude and enthusiasm for computing and graphics technologies.
