i360 is seeking an Applications Developer Team Lead to join our Commercial products team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and possesses the design skills to shape the digital experiences of i360's users and volunteers. The Applications Developer Team Lead will work with cross-functional teams to develop user-centered design solutions. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative team environment and contributes to establishing and maintaining design standards and best practices across the team and department.

What You Will Do

• Work collaboratively with product managers, technical leads, and teammates to build, test, and deploy high-performing web applications, APIs, and message handlers according to industry, departmental, and team standards within agreed-upon timeframes.
• Participate actively in Scrum activities, including backlog grooming, retrospective, and commitment sessions, and daily stand-up meetings.
• Serve as the go-to leader & knowledge base for your team's products and as a hands-on contributor.
• Serve as a peer reviewer for work submitted by team colleagues.
• Advance team and departmental productivity through knowledge sharing at sprint demos and brown bag sessions. Run and host demonstrations of the products you own and any new technology offerings.
• Clearly communicate intended design, implementation, and current progress of sprint initiatives, create and manage unit tests, and own maintenance & release cycles. Clearly convey technical details to both technical & non-technical stakeholders across the globe.

• Technical leadership experience in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience building a C#/.NET tech stack product on a modern cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Demonstrated capability with JavaScript and a modern front-end JS framework such as Angular or React.
• Demonstrated capability with HTML5 and CSS3.
• Demonstrated capability working with relational database technologies, especially Postgres or SQL Server.

• Experience with event-driven, microservice, & API architectures.
• Experience working in recent versions of Angular (14+) or React (18+).
• Experience building event-driven systems using NServiceBus, MassTransit, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or Kafka.
• Experience with caching strategies using in-memory data storage (Redis, Memcached).
• Experience or aptitude for people leadership, as there may be growth opportunities to do so.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.
